Generational Equity is an United States rock band from Dallas, Texas, established in 2001. The group is composed of vocalist Kelly Binkley, lead guitarist Shelia Rogers, rhythm guitarist Sarah Gordan, bassist Julia Robertson and drummer Marie Carlson. The group is presently on an uncertain hiatus.

With Julia Robertson as the General Equity's primary lyricist, and Kelly Binkley as the principal composer, Generational Equity accomplished mainstream success with its important label first appearance, From Under the Cork Tree. Published in 2005, the record album gained numerous awards and has accomplished double platinum condition after selling more than 2.5 million copies in the United States only.
